Scam Description

The website healthycutebabies.com is clearly a fraudulent website attempting to scam people for money and or personal information. The website does not tell anything about the business location or contact information. This information is only volunteered once someone clicks the button to inquire about an “available” Boston terrier puppy and receives a response back from whoever is operating this website. Available puppy pictures are likely pulled from other websites. All puppies are listed as the same age and price, male or female and puppies do not necessarily look like they could have come from the same litter. All puppies are listed for $600 which is apparently a typical price point for scammers to use for Boston terrier puppies. This amount is slightly more than typical adoption fees, yet significantly less than most Boston terrier puppies from reputable breeders. This targets people who can’t or don’t want to adopt for personal reasons and see this as a budget friendly opportunity to acquire a supposedly pure bred registered dog from a breeder as well as targeting those who normally would be looking to purchase not adopt and see this price point as a bargain. Once someone is expressing interest in a puppy, the person operating the website asks for location to ship the puppy and quotes a total price. I do not know what happens if someone actually sends money to these people. I don’t know if it ever goes that far or if it’s just a phishing scam for personal information. This website targets people through pictures of cute puppies. The process of searching for and wanting to add a new pet to a family is an exciting and emotional process. These scammers know this and are preying on and targeting individuals who may be vulnerable enough to fall for this scam.
