Scam Description
I contacted FedLoan Service to find out information in reference to PSLF information and spoke with a representative that transferred me to the hardship dept. The representative (Mikha) in that department asked my information to validate if I qualified. Once they verified my information they informed me that I was eligible for the program. She then went on to set me up on a program that would allow me to make payment on the balance that would be left after forgiveness amount was erased. . She asked for a form of payment and I declined to share that information. I found it odd for her to ask for payment information and instantly reported it to my loan servicing holder. The representative stated she was from Student Lans Aid which I can’t figure out how I was on the line with their company when I contacted Fred Loan Services and was transferred to a transferred to a representative.
