Scam Description
I hope this message finds you well. I recently became a member of a Facebook group dedicated to Swifty’s concert ticket exchanges. The primary objective of the group is to facilitate the exchange of tickets for those unable to attend specific events.
Acting on a lead in the group, I reached out to inquire about available tickets for the Miami concert. Out of three individuals who responded, I decided to proceed with a seller named Carissa Rena Feagins. My decision wasn’t price-driven; instead, I was influenced by the perceived authenticity of Carissa’s Facebook profile, which seemed legitimate and showcased an active social circle.
Carissa quoted a price of $250 per ticket. Since I required two tickets, the total came to $500. Additionally, she claimed that a $100 transfer fee from Ticketmaster would be necessary to transfer the tickets to my name. Thus, I parted with $700 in total.
However, I encountered an unforeseen issue. Despite the payment, the tickets were neither transferred nor received. To compound my concerns, Carissa has since blocked my number and removed me from her Facebook contacts.
