Scam Description
Bed Bath and Beyond was closing their stores including the one where I live. I saw a couple things I was needing and I ordered from the Internet but didn’t go to my actual store. It ended up turning out that it was secondary entity working under the Bed Bath and Beyond store. My order ended up shipping out of China. I had the Tracking Number and it said it was delivered! I never received my order and the Tracking said it delivered to Alaska and I live in IN! This happened back in July when I first placed my order. The communications were through email. They started out saying they look into it and try track and locate my Order?? By the middle of September I started asking for a Refund on my Order. In another email they said they would re-ship a new Order to me and I knew and realized I had just gotten Scammed!!
Then the last couple emails I received appeared to be an automated response because it was exactly word for word.
I’ve had people who I’ve never met personally trying to scam me but I never fell for it but this one got me and I fell for it and I usually can tell when someone is trying to Con and Scam but this one got past my Radar??!! I’m keeping an eye on my Credit Card Statement for anything I didn’t use it for. I know I’ll never get a Refund and it could been for a whole lot that I lost!
