Scam Description
Was emailed that a contractor would only use subcontractors through the third-party company “Avetta” – we initially made an account to check on more details of what was necessary to comply. We did not pay for the service but I have received multiple emails requiring about payment and even got a late notice on payment email. I told them to shove it, yet I still continue to get emails, asking if we would pay if there was a discount provided on the $1480.00. I looked up “avetta” and multiple people online have said it was a scam. Some had even lost money. I have blocked the emails and reported on google, I wanted to go a step further by reporting the “company” to BBB as well. They should be shut down.
