Scam Description
Scammer communicated via text and email. initially asked for $200 deposit and when they sent the contract and stated ” You will have to send 300 to enable me update the puppy’s genetic health testing, process Vet records and set of last shots. Will email you with receipt of partial/ full payment.” We became suspicious and refused. They tried to pressure stating they would not complete the sale without this. When we said we felt this was a scam they stopped communication. We tried to obtain money back from the Venmo account but the venmo account refused the refund and deleted their account. A complaint was made to Venmo. Sent several texts requesting refund with no response.
