Scam Description
The scammer had an accent, possibly hispanic. First he left a voicemail saying that my package was not delivered. Said the “reception” (not receptionist) did not accept the package and I was to provide delivery instructions. He called again and claimed the same thing and I was to confirm my identity buy saying my name. I know he called a number that is not associated with my account so I said, “why would amazon call to confirm delivery of my account” and he asked something like “why? Dont you have an amazon order?” I asked what order. And he again wanted me to confirm my identity by saying my name. I asked why would amazon call and not deliver my order. And he said something like: if you dont think im calling from amazon then you can confirm via email you will receive and we wont deliver your package.
