Scam Description
Advertised new autoclaves for sale through the ADA – American dental association and took payment stating that they are on back order. Michael McDermid continually tells you that it is delayed until you are past the statue of limitations for a chargeback with your credit card protection. Fine print on the overtocker.com website that is NOT highlighted as a hyperlink states You agree to the terms and conditions set on this page. You agree to contact us in writing at info@overstocker.com for any and all refunds, or charge disputes. Chargeback through your bank or credit card provider will be deemed frivolous if there is no record of communication or are outside of this agreement. Frivolous chargebacks will be sent to collections against you and your business name for the full amount of your original order (whether it has been fulfilled or not) plus a collections fee of $2485.22. Once sent to collections we cannot reverse this and will not be able to take payment. Overstocker will attempt to contact you to try to resolve any disputes prior to submitting to collections but if no response is received within 30 days your payment method may be charged for the full amount. If this is not successful your file will be closed with Overstocker and sent to collections. You will also not be able to purchase anything in the future from Overstocker, its partners or affiliates.
