Scam Description
I was looking for Altra running shoes online. Chose walkingshoes.com because it was comparable to some other offers but they had a few colors. Made the purchase through paypal. The site said I would receive a confirmation email with ETA. I never received an email. Paypal processed the payment to a Carol Mahon. When I went back to look at customer service, there is no address, no contact info, no number, no address, no email address. An email box pops up but I am sure it is invalid. Under customer service it says they sell women’s dresses and do not get the products from the “grey” market. Upon searching for reviews, someone else had the same experience but the payment went to a different name. The website is all over the search when looking for shoes. I have never received a confirmation email or a response to any of the emails I supposedly sent on their site.
