Scam Description
We ordered 2, “Carhartt Women vintage solid button down jackets”, one medium and one large. We were given a three to four-day time frame for arrival. We followed up and received a foreign shipping confirmation, the tracking information showed the item was in JAMAICA, NY waiting for a shipping label on the 9th, to the 22nd, then from then to the 29th it was shipped to Chicago to make its way by ground to me when Jamaica is in the same state and not far…

Customer services questions multiple times why I want to return the items. The website has the Carhart logo, and customer service portrays them as coming from the United States. The orders arrived and both jackets were 2 sizes larger than ordered, aside from the cheap iron on Carhart logo on the jackets. The company continue to ask us to keep the product for a discount on another order, however we insisted on a refund and to return the product. They finally gave us a return address. They want us to return the product on our dollar or if we keep the merchandise the company will do a partial repayment.
The final email with return instructions and a vague threat is below:
“Dear Customer,
If you insist on returning, please return the item to the following address. But we suggest you check the shipping before you return, it may cost you a lot of money.
Please tell me the tracking number after you return, then we will refund you after we get the return package, it may take us a long time.
