Scam Description

The originial website was alledgedly a “Croc Outlet” store. It wasn’t until I got the first email/order number that I noticed the return email was croestore.com. The “e” instead of the “c” in Croc should have tipped me off, but I was giving the benefit of the doubt. The shoes were being shipped from Paris, which seemed crazy to me, but again, I was trying to be optimistic. When they were taking a long time to ship, I reached out to the seller. They (Erica Peg) responded and said there was a hold-up, but to be patient. The hold-up continued and still continues – and I have never received my merchandise nor do I believe they are actual products about to be delivered. Attached you will find our email correspondence, the original order and order number as well as the shipping history. It does not appear to be posting/saving, but I have it as a PDF if you need it. Here it is in electronic form:

I have reached out to my credit card to reverse the charges. The charges went through Pay Pal to an individual named “Amy Sommerville”.
