Scam Description
I went to the website, filled out an application and was connected by text and email to proceed with the puppy adoption process. The scammer offer purebred kennel approved Maltipoo puppies for $1200, with a $700 refundable deposit should the customer change their mind. I was asked some questions in respect to the home breaking information to ensure I understand the responsibility of adopting and house training a new puppy. I was asked to VENMO the deposit or full price and asked twice in the same day for funds. What struck me as odd was told to write ” between friends” in the message box. Before I paid the deposit I checked reviews on the website and saw scam reviews.
