Scam Description
OnMy client purchased a car from Marietta Vintage Motors. It was a 1968 Pontiac GTO cost me $21,500.00 which included shipping. The company has a website and email address, spoke with Terry Mitchell “Sales Manager” at 740-790-6202, website shows 19 classic cars for sales and appears to be a legitimate business, after the wire transfer was sent on 3/28/2024 he was told that the car would be delivered to him on 4/4/2024, the last conversation was on 4/1/2024 and the the phone number and emails are not be answered. The wire was credited to Wujek Motors Automotive, LLC via Chase Bank the car was never delivered and this company is a scammer, PLEASE NOTE: “Marietta Vintage Motors” is close in name to Marietta Motors, LLC which is a legitimate business. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MARIETTA VINTAGE MOTORS, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT DELIVER YOUR CAR.
