Scam Description
The scammer used several adds on Alibaba to advertise for wholesale baby diapers. I contacted the scammer and negotiated a set price. I checked the scammer personal website and saw that he works for the company and the company has many products that I like. I proceeded and make an order. when it was time to pay, I requisted to pay via Alibaba. According to the scammer, they don’t have an Alibaba account because his company usually pay other people to run adds on Alibaba for them. I paid a sum of $3,979.50 for the producs with delivery. when it was time for them to deliver my product, On 10/28/2022, I received an email from FAST LINK LOGISTIC demanding payments of 2,786.00 USD. According to this company, I had 3 days to make this payment or I will not receive my products. I contacted Mr. Kokou Leo Djangni related to this, he never reply. I finally got a response from him on October 31, 2022, telling me that my products are on hold until payment of 2,786.00 USD is make. By then, I realized what I was dealing with. No real company does things like that.
