Scam Description
My wife lost her ipad while traveling from Tampa International Airport to Logan International in Boston. When we arrived at home, My son went online through the Tampa International Airport Lost and Found website and was charged 39.99 for the TSA portion of the Lost and Found service which he paid for using her Visa credit card. It seemed odd that they would charge for such a thing and then the next morning she received emails from instaFILEReporting requesting additional information. When I saw the name, I Googled it and found that they are a Scam Company that charges for their service and never produce any results.
So I had to replace credit cards for my wife and I and filed a Fraud Report with Digital Federal Credit Union to recover the charge of 39.99.
Tampa International Airport somehow is responsible in this process that they use and it’s powered by ChargerBack which is a software application that is displayed on the bottom of their website.
I hope this is sufficient enough to complete this filing.
