Scam Description

I was drawn to the skin tag removal advertisement from another website. The Amarose website showed some photographs of results. The website emphasizes a FREE trial. However, when I entered information to order a free sample, which did include my credit card info (should have seen the red flag, I know), I immediately received a notification that my credit card had been charged $199.75. I called the number and was told that was for an order of five bottles, of which two were free and that there was no way to cancel my order, even though it had been less than ten minutes since I ordered. I escalated my call and asked to speak to a manager. The manager did call me back promptly and told me that she still could not cancel my order, but she offered $50 off, and to waive the shipping and the tax! Even that doesn’t equate, because I was supposedly getting the bottles for $34.95 per bottle, plus two for free, which would be $104.85, not $149! I have no idea if the product works, and I never will because I intend to return it. Even then, they are going to charge me an $8.95 restocking fee per bottle. I later looked at the terms and conditions, which did not mention any free samples, only the 5 for the price of 3 information. At the very least, the website should require that people read the Terms and Conditions BEFORE they click through their order.
