Scam Description
I thought this was the legitimate website of the Taurus firearms company. The website has all their products listed with normal pricing. However, the scam became evident when you look a little closer. There is no real full business address listed on the website, and the company lists a gmail email address to send payment to that isn’t in a business name. The website asks that you pay via Paypal and other money transfer companies such as Zella instead of more secure means such as a credit card. I have tried contacting the person named in the website as Sean Callahan to his gmail email account, banagh25@gmail.com and to the website email that is listed as support@taurusgunsshop.com but no replies. There is a phone number listed, 202-599-5251 but no one answers.
