Scam Description
False advertisement of car purchased on Facebook marketplace. What was advertised in description was 4WD and after getting vehicle home realized what was described was not what we purchased. Vehicle was 2WD which would have never cost as much as it did. Seller blamed us for not looking into the features he listed, which is fraud on his part. We would have never looked at the car in the first place had it not been listed to bait people in. Also under listing is “no issues,” but there were several obvious issues when we got there and that we did agree on when purchasing, but seller was aware we wanted 4WD and said it was. Seller uses several profiles such as “John Michael” and “Danny White.” Googled phone number and belongs to Jameel Atik. Buyers beware. Hoping there are no other issues as we take it apart. If he was just decent and gave us some money back for the 2WD vs. 4WD as advertised I would have never reported this. But he became insulting and then blocked us from every angle which makes me think this was a huge scam.
