Scam Description
I am on a TX Boston Terrier facebook group. I came across someone by the name of Osong Nadesh page selling a Boston terrier puppy, so sent a message for information. Price was negotiable so made arraignments to purchase and pickup. Osong gave me an address of 20659 Stone Oak Pkwy Apt ****, San Antonio TX. I was messaging that I would be there for pickup if Cash or Venmo would be ok at pickup.
I did not get a reply back when I arrived at the residence a sign on the door was posted saying: Please note someone is fraudulently using my address for a puppy scam. Per the San Antonio police dept they recommended you report the scam to the FBI. and to take the following steps: File report with BBB Scam tracker, Call 1-877-FTC-Help. When I was in the process of changing my FB password I get a message from Osong saying Where are you? I did not reply back and blocked this person.
I am glad that I did not send deposit like what was asked for.
