Posted ad on Marketplace for a vintage item, almost immediately got a “buyer” asking if “still available “
When I replied Yes, I got another message saying they can pickup and I should text their cell. I did text the number, and then got text back that to be safe the buyer wanted to text me 6 digits that I should text back. That’s when I backed off- never heard of such a thing and found out it’s a scam through BBB.
