Scam Description
I purchased a dress through an online ad on Facebook. I received an order confirmation saying I would be notified when my order was shipped. I followed up by email two weeks later when I still hadn’t received any notice of my order being shipped. I received a timely response basically saying my order was in transit from China and the current shipping time was taking 6-8 weeks on average (due to uncontrollable COVID-19 delays and global supply chain issues.) They hoped I could bear with them and they could process a return, but ONLY after I received the item. I contacted them again by email 9 weeks after I originally placed the order, which I still hadn’t received or even received a notice that it had shipped. I did not get any response back. It has now been 12 weeks and no order and no response. Just issued a dispute with my credit card for the charge. We’ll see what happens.
