Scam Description
My son found online a weighted plushie at greenic.co. as a birthday gift for someone. Upon making the purchase no shipping details were offered. When the tracking email finally arrived, it said “item not found” and when clicking on the tracking number takes you to site that is all in Chinese. When emailing them at support@greenic.com the response is a automated message that my email was received. The website does not offer a phone number. The only phone number provided is what showed up on my credit card bill and that just rings forever, never getting answered. my credit card statement shows the company name as “Plamdales Co” and the website displays a fictitious physical address. The item finally arrived after 26 days and several emails to the company, with the same automated responses. The “weighted plushie” is NOT weighted at all and is just a stuffed animal that was vacuum packed to fit into an envelope for shipping, not at all how it was described or shown on website; no packing slip provided either. After emailing them to return and refund the item, I did get a generic response after 1 week stating they would not accept the return or refund me due to buyer’s remorse. Never do they offer any contact information. Shortly after getting this email, another charge for a different amount showed up on my credit card. My CC company texted and emailed me about the transaction to verify if it was legit purchase. This is now being handled by their fraud department.
