Scam Description
I booked this stylist Purple MIsst on Styleseat on 9/10/22 at 10am- went to address listed which was 1207 Waughtown St Winston Salem, NC- it was a barbershop- man inside asked how could he help me, I told him that I was there to get my hair done- and he said that there was no one else there- showed him my confirmation from styleseat and he said that he’d never heard of this person! I canceled the appointment- then there was no contact number listed for her , so messaged her on styleseat and received no reply- I then received a message the next day from this stylist – claiming that she has moved from that location and that she never received any notifications on styleseat- and that she never received any money from me! She asked me to contact Styleseat and let them know that she’s not a fraud and said that she would change her address on the website to reflect new location- she then said that due to her “messing up ” if I wanted to book with her again that she would take 50% off services!
