Scam Description

I received an ad via instagram to purchase children’s clothes. I went to the website and placed an order on April 29,2023 at 8:51a. After feeling suspicious, I googled the company and realized that they had questionable business practices and quality of clothes. At 9:01a, I immediately emailed and canceled the order. At 9:21p, they confirmed the cancellation and refund. However, the refund never came. On May 8th, I received a notification that the order was shipped. I immediately emailed and asked what happened. On May 9th, they emailed me back and said that they shipped it our due to a staffing error and offered me a discount. I declined. Several weeks went by and half the order arrived. I contacted the company and they requested a label to return the items. They refused wanting me to pay over $50 in shipping costs to send the items back. For weeks I’ve been emailing with no help. They still refuse to receive the items and they have refused me refund.
