Scam Description
I ordered a pair of shoes from Duckstone. The tracking information was provided, and when I saw that my purchase was “delivered”, but I hadn’t received the item, I reached out to the company. They told me that the item was delivered to my local post office and to check there. When I went to the post office, they told me that the tracking number and shipping company that was provided to me by Duckstone, was not a valid company, or tracking number. When I informed the company of this information, they claimed it was the fictitious shipping company’s fault, and that they could refund 40% of my purchase. I have repeated told them that their actions are fraudulent and to refund 100% of my purchase. The amount is under $20, but its the principle of the situation. I am angry at myself for not investigating the company before ordering from them, and I hope that my experience will deter others from ordering from this company in the future.
