Scam Description

I received the item on 4/11 I immediately found something wrong with what I purchased and it was not as described and messaged the seller. They encouraged me to send it back and not go through Mercari’s return process. As a sign of good faith I sent it back and rated the seller on 4/13. They sent it back on 4/17 it arrived 4/20 while I was away. I opened it on 4/25 when I got home and the issue I sent the item back for was fixed but another part of the system was broken. I messaged the seller as soon as I discovered what I purchased was working as described on their listing. Instead of the good customer support they showed in the beginning they began accusing me of tampering with the item when all I asked was why they did not test it before sending it back to me.
The Game Reseller acted unprofessionally and took no accountability for their lack of due diligence. After the began accusing me of tampering with the item I knew I had to report them to the BBB. When I shipped my item back for repairs the first time I paid for the shipping out of my pocket and they confirmed the issue I identified was valid.
