I was contacted for attempted transfer of funds via Zelle or Crypto for purchase of a firearm.
This was the initial “red flag” that this “dealer” was not legitimate based on fund transfer options.
There is no contact information regarding the business address or a phone number, which was the second “red flag”.
I was provided a false invoice for payment.
No payment of any kind was submitted.
This website (https://ssauerfirearms.com) is an UNAUTHORIZED SIG Sauer dealer with no legality to either sell or transfer ANY firearms to a local FFL in the continental United States location or abroad.
Information was confirmed directly with the manufacturer, SIG Sauer, and listed as fraudulent in the deep subsection of the actual real manufacturer’s website. The website has extracted the ENTIRE catalog and information to appear legitimate. IC3 Complaint has been submitted.
Business continues to operate without law enforcement action.
