Scam Description
I attempted to make an appointment for a therapist using my BCBS federal referral page. I was guided to headway.co to schedule an appointment. I provided the information asked, along with my credit card information, and received confirmation that my appointment was scheduled and ready for 04/03/2023 at 11:00 AM. The time came and went, and no one called. I followed up and found out that the provider has never used Headway as an appointment scheduler. Our information was provided to a group that posed as a third party scheduling group. When contacting the provider, they had no knowledge of my intent to even see a doctor. I want the site investigated for fraud, because they are scheduling non-existent appointments for people who require mental health. The only thing worse than poor mental health is the helplessness of waiting for a call that is not coming.
