Scam Description
Loan was made for $18,250.00 in a check made from a company that is not called LendingClub. Once the check was chargedback to the account it was deposited into due to a stop payment being placed on the check the scammer continued to call and state he did not place the stop payment and that it was the bank’s fault the check was deposited into along with curse words. This man had a heavy thick accent and was not easily understandable and I had to continue to have him repeat what he said.
