Scam Description
Impulse bought a retro emulation handheld from a TikTok ad, but immediately realized it was a scam – there was no confirmation email and no intact phone number to call. The tracking function on the site does not work and the charge on the card is to a different merchant name (Jeweltopia Boutique). The final confirmation also purports to include a 14-day trial to a rewards program that converts to a monthly 14.99 subscription even though I did not add this to my cart before checkout.
