Scam Description
Paid for orders on monkeyfeet website and owner kept providing excuses as to why orders weren’t shipping by initially provided turnaround time. Been waiting a year for shoes ordered and unable to file disputes due to length of time outstanding. Website is now down and emails are unanswered. Owner scammed thousands of people out of money and even scammed manufacturer out of approximately $500k after sending fraudulent wire transfer receipt to manufacturer. Shoes are now stuck in FL business address but owner was evicted. Customers are now out thousands of pairs of shoes, out thousands of dollars and manufacturer is out hundreds of thousands of dollars. There is a Facebook buyer beware page available with documentation and proof of lies/excuses provided by business owner regarding delays with orders. Delay updates provided by owner created false hope in customers and appear to have been timed perfectly to prevent people from filing disputes/chargebacks. Now people are out thousands of dollars.
