Scam Description

I received an email from Moore Ammo that looked legit. Their slogan is, “Everyone needs More ammo!” They were offering a free drone if you just pay shipping and handling. I have gotten a lot of things from survival and tactical places for just shipping and handling so it didn’t occur to me it might be a scam. I entered my shipping and payment information. They were offering an extra discount for using MasterCard. Once I clicked to pay, it said my card was declined and to enter information for another card. But that was a lie. The payment went through. It was $9.95 for shipping and handling but with the discount for using MasterCard it was for $8.25. My credit card company immediately texted me asking if it’s legit or fraud. Last time it was legit and so everything was fine but since they lied about the card being declined and wanted me to enter in information from another card, I reported back that it was fraud and will have to call them in the morning. I emailed support@mooreammo.com and have not yet received a reply. I did not notice until after that even though it says Moore Ammo all over the email, it is signed from a Leland Moor. They forgot the e to be the same as the supposed business name. They got me to give them my name and home address and personal cell number as well as all of the information for my Mastercard. Hopefully they won’t be able to use it for evil. I didn’t lose any money to my knowledge but they have enough information to do a lot of damage. I hope this helps warn people before they hand out their info. The address listed for Moore Ammo is 1712 Pioneer Ave. Ste. 2035
Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA
