Scam Description
My wife booked a stargazing cruise with Mark Coppinger of Meteor Cruise. They cancelled the cruise claiming someone on staff was ill and rescheduled the cruise for a month later. We could not make the later cruise because we live out of state. My wife contacted Mr. Coppinger to request a refund which he said he would take care of and we’d see the money in 3 to 5 business days. This was almost a month ago and now Mr. Coppinger does not respond to emails, texts or phone calls. I looked him up and this seems to be habitual behavior. Before running the cruise scam, it looks like he ran a zip line scam for a while.
