Scam Description
On 12/6/22 I ordered two monitor extenders. The webpage indicated that all items were shipped from the U.S. After I placed the order I noticed I did not receive any type of confirmation. I reached out to the company on 12/8/22 to verify the order. I was told that my order had been placed and was provided a tracking number — which indicated the items were sent from China and not the U.S. as stated on the website.

On 1/6/23 I received a mysterious package containing a knife and spoon gift set – no packing slip was included so I did not know where it came from. At that time, I did not think the two things were related. However, on 1/9/23, I checked the tracking and saw that a package had been delivered on 1/6/23, but since I was expecting monitor extenders, I assumed I did not receive the package. I reached out to the seller again to report that I did not receive the package.
They responded that the package was delivered so I can only assume that the knife and spoon gift set was sent in place of what I actually ordered. Attached is the email communication.
