Scam Description
In April 2022 I purchased a tapestry from a website called hdtapestry.com. The website used to sell tapestries, recently it changed its name and the product to “Meg’s Macrame.” I never received my order, I contacted their support email, we went back and forth for a bit and then I gave up, as it’s clear I will never get my package. Luckily I only spent about $26. I believe this scam is the same as others by “Trippy Tapestry” that I read older Reddit posts about. Their new website, https://megsmacrame.com/products/mystery-macrame is styled the exact same way as their HD Tapestry one- they simply change products and URL names, but hdtapestry.com still works- it just redirects to Meg’s Macrame. Under the tab for Refunds and Returns, their address in Pennsylvania is given under HD Tapestry. I searched this address, and it appears a different company is there. I first found this website through an Instagram ad.
