Scam Description

The company promotes itself as a South Carolina company with Made in the USA clothing. They are actually a chinese company (probably a sweat factory, possibly Uyghur). I don’t think any of my PII was stolen – I have identity monitoring – but I am not 100% sure. I did not order through Facebook but went to the website – it seemed legitimate. When I saw the charge on my credit card was from China I knew it was a scam and sure enough, the clothing finally came (2 weeks late) and was 1. way too big; 2. significantly lower quality than stated on the website; and 3. One dress was supposed to be a cocktail dress with a skirt that had multiple layers of organza and glitter but was a cheap cotton knock off with a printed on pattern.
When I tried to return the items their customer service started negotiations with me on how much they would give me back and trying to get me to see this as a great deal.

I will accept the $55 and keep the dresses.
They will be exhibit A and B in my complaint with my friends at the BBB, Consumer Protection Agency and FTC for fraud.
Or you can refund me the full $90 and I’ll forget the whole episode.
The shipping fee is very expensive because Ryabe lies about being a US company based in South Carolina…and lies about the merchandise.
