Scam Description

My friend was quoted $2000 for a move in Pennsauken NJ by Michael Milano, to be done on the day of her closing. The job was abandoned 3 hours early by his movers, and Michael told her that it would be another $2000 to continue the job, which caused negotiations to open back up at the closing table. This was only the beginning. In the end, my friend ended up paying almost $7000 for a horrible service. Her belongings were held hostage for over 60 hours while Michael demanded more and more money, claimed to lose the key to her storage unit, and told his movers to leave with her stuff until she paid. The movers were prevented from leaving by the police. Michael Milano seems to have been involved with many moving companies that the Better Business Bureau has been unable to reach, and I am delighted to say the above address is Michael Milano’s home address. I’m sure the email is disposable and the phone number he used was through Google Voice. Please help prevent this scammer from making any more money off his victims.
