Scam Description

I set up a California LLC earlier this year and the business of the LLC is to run an ecommerce store on Amazon. In February/March I signed a contract with Scaling Group (owned by Alexander Martino) to operate the Amazon store on a day-to-day basis. In order to proceed I was asked to make a $20,000 deposit.
Things went well for some months until the store was deactivated by Amazon. The store was deactivated on August 5, 2022. Since
that point I’ve been chasing Scaling Group to resolve the issue and they were responsive for the first two weeks but since then this vendor has been unresponsive to my attempts to reach them over email and text message since August 17th.
Separately, on Friday, September 9th I got several emails from a Texas-based collections agency hired by the vendor I contracted with. The collections agency reached out to collect a share of the business’ profits from me. They gave me 24 hours to pay the share of business profits and otherwise they have threatened to go to court. They have no case as due to the deactivation of the store all of the business’ revenues were exhausted in paying off the business’ credit card which still carries a balance as there was insufficient revenue to cover the entire balance of the credit card.
I am making this complaint because Scaling Group has defrauded me of $20,000 and breached their contract which included a guarantee of a $30,000 return on investment. All attempts to reach Scaling Group to address this matter have proven unsuccessful
and it is clear that the organization is engaging in a scam. Several other individuals have been affected by this and there is a
public discussion taking place on Reddit – https://www.reddit.com/r/amazonfbahelp/comments/w04d6d/scaling_group_llc_reviews/
