Scam Description
On April 14th I noticed unusual messages on Facebook Messenger. I got a strange txt message from Mr Beynon about a refund for a purchase on Facebook marketplace…. where he sells used items or trades items. I found out next day that somehow he/or agent with him…stole stored Visa credit card data on Google Pay. First Bank and Trust showed it to be a transaction with Mark Beynon and his Market Place account. I have never purchased anything from Mr. Beynon online or in person. Mr Beynon refused to cooperate when he returned my msg to refund me the $80 that was fraudulently taken. First Bank and Trust investigating my pending fraud case.
