Scam Description

Imvu.com is attempting to scam their players by getting their personal information. When trying to make a purchase on their website they will ask you to “verify” your details. They ask that you send them a picture of yourself holding your credit card and id. They ask that the image of you holding your credit card and id have the information visible. Also their TOS is very sketchy. It says if your account has not been used in a while they will send your items and unused purchases (including real money purchases) to “friends”. (They use quotations in their TOS.) It also says if they can send it to whoever they deem fit. Their refund policy also states they can determine whether they want to refund something or not, regardless of the situation. Which doesn’t seem legal.
(I accidentally put the wrong phone number in my first report.)
