Scam Description
I posted an item for sale on Facebook Marketplace. I was contacted by ‘Luma Tom’ that they were interested in the item and to text them. Once I texted they responded that they needed to verify I was a legit seller and to text back a 6 digit number that they would send. After I sent the number I did not hear back. I then became suspicious and looked this up online. I saw that it was a scam for someone to use your number in Google Voice. I then followed instructions to reclaim my number in Google Voice.
