Scam Description
On February 19 I was contacted directly (knock on door) with an offer to install gutter guards and to clean the gutters. The individual who identified himself as “Brent Wyatt,” claimed to know friends of mine and to have worked for them. He stated that he needed funds to purchase the guards and promised installation within a week. He cashed my check on the 23rd. I emailed and called several times finally warning him by email that I would report his activities to the police fraud department, which I did on May 18, 2022 reporting directly to Officer Wagner at about 8:00 AM, I have heard nothing of this person since 2/19/2022.
