Scam Description
Alfredo gave us a bid for concrete work. I gave him $100 to hold my place for work in May. He came out and collected an additional $3,000 for a deposit, dug up our grass, left, and never returned. For a month or so he gave us many excuses as to why he was not completing the job, then I told him I wanted a refund. He stopped communicating at all. I filed a complaint with the police and small claims. We are seniors, and he took our money, which we may never get back. Also left a yard in a big mess, that we will have to pay to have repaired.
