Scam Description
On July 14,2022 We hired two contractors , Adam and Gabriele Puleo of A&G Remodeling to demo a bathroom, kitchen floor, and install tile floors. This father and son business , A&G Remodelers, responded on facebook to a request for remodelers. Provided an estimate and showed up about 9 days after their estimate. They were to complete demo of a bathroom and kitchen floor. Did not have appropriate tools. They only completed demo of the bathroom. They wrote up a contract , very informal on a notebook pad, required a deposit to purchase materials to install under tiles. check given for 400.00. An agrrement in the contract is that they would remove the trash from the demo. They were due to return 5 days after the demo to start the tile installation. Did not return to remove trash or do tile installation. Did not answer numerous phone calls or text messages. Left hand tools at our home. We have not heard from them. We are out our money, no materials received, no install received.
