Scam Description
After storm IAN, a roof repair sales rep came to my door saying I had damaged roof shingles. I learned from the insurance adjuster that the man who came to my door was a scammer. I lost $1,500.00. His card looked legit because I had looked up the company name, phone number and address along with reading there reviews. The scammers duplicated a current business and all their information on a business card they had produced themselves. No such employee listed as I could see on the website under BBB. The scammer never called me back to do any repairs. Never received a receipt from the guy either.
