Scam Description
I was referred to RODNEY HAYMER for a bathroom remodel and other by a lender. I trusted being that the referral and the references I called on behalf of the job confirmed that he was spot on and good. He completed the bathroom (almost…had some cabinets to reseal) and it looked nice..such a change with minimal supervision. I advised I had a total of $40K i was putting into the house. After I told him that he offered to do a whole house upgrade for $40k and that what I needed he could do same as a contractor as he’d done it all before. STUPID ME…I believed him…mostly because again, the LENDER referred him. After getting $30K out of me. He packed up his stuff and never returned. He touched almost every room and left except 3 and left every room incomplete from painting, to flooring, to doorbell disengaged, to cabinets and counters not sealed or completed, o holes left in the siding where he cut new vent for oven cove, to nails sticking out of baseboards and walls. DO NOT USE RODNEY HAYMER NOR HAYMER AND NAILS OR YOU WILL GET GOT!
