Scam Description
I received a mailing I feel is a scam. It is from the Small Business Administration. It is a notice I owe on a loan for my business. $345. I never took out a loan from them. My company has been out of business three and a half years. I don’t know if I need an attorney. This might have happened during Covid when they were handing out money. My company (BBB redacted name) went out of business June 2020. I called the phone number on the mailing. They wanted my Social Security number. I declined to give it out. I had called Service office phone number 833-853-5638. They answered Small Business Administration. I feel it is a scam. I never took out a loan.. I hung up on them.
