Scam Description
The victim was contacted by text saying their resume was spotted on CareerBuilder and should go on zoom to conduct an interview. They went through the interview, did due diligence, and determined it was not a scam. They later sent them a check of $4,500 and they asked to send the money to “vendors” and keep $300 for themselves. It was until they sent $1,000 they realized it was a scam.
