Scam Description

Got a text message stating that if i put AMP Energy drink Logos on our vehicle we would get $500.00 a week for no more than three months. we were very sick, and in our down time noticed that the check for $4650.00 from AMP Energy Drink was actually from Arizona Industries for the Blind. The paperwork sent stated You will deduct $500,00 which is you first weekly payment and proceed to the post office to buy $4000.00 postal money orders from the post office, use $100.00 to mail the postal money orders with purchase receipts through USP/USPS first overnight priority and use $50.00 for gas and transportation. They will also be responsible for removing the wrap when the campaign expires. David will provide a name and address to mail the postal money orders immediately the funds made available by your bank branch and make sure you leave the money orders blank. Don’t write write any name on it. Make sure you buy and mail out the postal money orders the same day the funds clear your account to avoid cancellation of payment. Deposit a check and confirm by sending the picture of the deposit slip using SMS (646) 944-8775, we would also need you to provide the best time and date, location that you want the tech to come and install the car wrap. Sincerely David Milligan Relations Manager (AMP Energy Drink AdTeam). we were sent a text asking if we cashed the check, and i stated we were sick and cannot at this time. They said OK. Just recently we got another text asking if we cashed the check and stated we were really sick and will soon. They stated OK. The mail was sent priority overnight FedEx.
