Scam Description
I had initially received an email from my school email account, so I assumed that it was a school related job. The scammer had told me to fill out a form with my information so they could contact me to work as a secret shopper for Wholefoods. Once I filled that out, I then got an email on my personal email and that’s when I decided I should look it up to see if it was real. Turns out, it was a scam. After about 2 weeks, I received another email and the check in my mail telling me that I need to cash in my check and buy gift cards, then send those gift cards to the email and/or number provided.
